Dreaming of a career in the fashion industry? An internship is a fantastic way to take your first steps.
This is no Anne Hathaway from Devil Wears Prada proposal, but an internship at Saben will introduce you to the modern mechanics behind the business of fashion. We are an intimate office, in which nothing goes unappreciated. You be involved in all elements of the process, from dispatch to design. To become the ultimate Saben intern, you’ll need to be versatile, hard working and support the existing Sabenettes with an energised and innovative approach to your tasks.
Internships at Saben can be across the stock management and dispatch avenues or they could have a marketing and business development focus. Your tasks may include: sticking labels on hundreds of swing tags; assisting a stylist on our next campaign shoot; utilize your Excel skills to analyze the effectiveness of an online advertising campaign; assisting in the process of making production spec sheets; if you have graphic design skills you could help produce marketing collateral from our creative team initiatives.
Whether you see yourself in marketing, production, design, sales or graphic design there is an intern role to suit you. You have the chance to grow your skill set, implement industry standard practices and gain a deeper understanding of how a fashion business works. By the time you leave your Saben post for a full-time job, you’ll have developed attention for detail, keen sensibilities for customer care and phone etiquette, and a team spirit that will boost your career anywhere.
Please note this is an unpaid position. Minimum duration is one day per week for 3 months.
But if your good, we will keep you on.
Lazy fashion wannabes need not apply.
