For the first time in four years the team at J.Friend & Co were able to harvest honeycomb from their bees. They still don’t have enough to put it on the shelves but were kind enough to share some. Kapiti cheese expert Meg, took this beautiful honeycomb and matched it with three different cheeses. But she didn’t stop there. She called up the crazy crew at Havana coffee in Wellington and got them to send up some of their Five Star Hot Air Roasted Beans, which she ground and sprinkled on top. Delicious.

These are limited edition boards, with only a small amount having been created.

Each week a new limited edition board will be released.

Kanuka Waxed Havarti

Buttery-ripe Havarti. Chewy, nutty beeswaxed honey. Freshly ground sprinkled coffee. Individually incredible, together, out of this world.

Kahikatea Camembert
Something completely different; earthy, creamy and full of flavor, our camembert paired with the waxed honey and coffee grains makes for a smooth introduction to a deliciously off-kilter combination.

Te Horo Swiss
This Swiss cheese offers an exciting sweet nutty tingle on the tip of the tongue. Paired with the coffee dusted honeycomb, it delivers a punk pairing that’ll make some serious noise.
