We caught up with the ever so wonderful Saben Retail team at the Ponsonby Flagship store. We chatted about their favourite go-to handbags, tips and tricks on how to style them and more. We wanted to introduce the girls to show you the faces of the amazing women behind the exceptional customer service of the Saben brand. 

Meet Taylor, Our resident workaholic.

A quiet over achiever, she gets stuck in and gets it done! Tay has been managing the Saben store for three years on top of juggling a second job on the side, and finishing her Bachelor’s in Health Science majoring in Nursing. In her private time, Tay enjoys a night out for dinner, heading to the gym, and cooking for her family and friends. 

• What do you love about your chosen style? 

The Tilly Cross-body is my all-time favourite and so, when the Frilly Tilly came out I fell in LOVE. The Frilly Tilly is super versatile and can transform into a clutch, wallet or handbag!

• What outfit would you usually pair with this handbag?

Frilly Tilly can be dressed down with jeans and a t-shirt or dressed up with a cute summer dress.

• What is the next on your Saben wish list? 

Next on my Saben wish list is the Nikko in croc as it is another one of our "essentials only" handbag as I aim to carry light.

Introducing our second in charge, Melissa.

You may have met her from Monday – Friday in store, over the phone, or e-met her via the website chat. Melissa has been with Saben for almost a year and has just completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with family and friends and of course, some shopping on the side!

• What do you love about your chosen style? 

The pop of magenta on the Tilly Crossbody! It's the perfect way to brighten up any Summer outfit!

• What outfit do you usually wear with this handbag?

Definitely a good t-shirt and pair of denim shorts with sandals for that relaxed feel on those warmer days.

• What is next on your Saben wish list? 

I am eyeing up the Tilly's Big Sis in Aegean next - the blue is stunning!

Introducing Saben sales super star, Rachna.

When she’s not working at Saben over the weekend she’s tackling University studying Commerce and Property, not to mention this is her final semester – so close to freedom! Rachna has been working for Saben for two years now and her passions include makeup, travelling, going to the gym, and listening to music.

• What do you love about your chosen style? 

I love how the Walker lets you be hands-free and can be worn in so many different ways! I usually opt for over my shoulder or around my waist.

• What outfit would you usually wear with this handbag? 

I'd normally pair Walker with jeans and a top during the day, however, I do find it's chic enough to wear with a dress on a night out!

• What is next on your Saben wish list? 

Brooklyn in Aegean is next on my wish list! it's my favourite colour from this season.
