The Saben Story

Originally a Sydney-sider, Roanne Jacobson started Saben in New Zealand out of her parent’s garage in 2002. Our visionary Saben founder, designer and creative director, brings to the brand a philosophy of intelligent design, impeccable craftsmanship, and a genius eye for timeless style.

Drawing inspiration from her grandmother, Sarah Saben - an indomitable woman and style icon in her own right - Roanne's designs are all about the transformative and empowering power - not to mention joy - of well-chosen accessories.
